AMOREM is certified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt (non-profit) organization. Donations to AMOREM are tax-deductible as allowed by law. AMOREM is the only nonprofit hospice care provider licensed by the state of North Carolina, through its certification of need, to operate hospice facilities in Ashe, Burke, Caldwell and Watauga counties. Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance companies. AMOREM provides services regardless of ability to pay. AMOREM is certified by Medicare and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care.
