Located in downtown Valdese, proceeds from Thrifts & Gifts support AMOREM's mission to provide quality, thoughtful, loving care to patients and support to their families across each of AMOREM's 12 service areas. Your donations and your thrifts transform into a patient and family's gift.
Newly-donated items go onto the sales floor every day. You never know what you might find, but you can be assured that each time you shop at Thrifts & Gifts, you impact the lives of hospice patients and their families in your community, right here at home. Volunteer at Thrifts & Gifts
Thrifts & Gifts is always seeking mission-driven individuals to join the volunteer team. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, processing and pricing donations, assisting customers during their shopping experience and check-out, completing pick-ups and drop-offs for large donations and much more. Volunteers and VolunTEENs are eligible for this opportunity.
Donating to Thrifts & Gifts
Thrifts & Gifts accepts donations from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
We do not accept donations after hours.
Please deliver all donation items to the back of the store and a team member will be glad to assist you. Thrifts & Gifts offers a pick-up service for larger donation items like furniture. To arrange a pick-up with one of our team members, call the store at 828.874.4483. A list of donatable items can be found below. If you have an item that you are unsure of, call the store to speak with an associate. Remember, your donation to Thrifts & Gifts directly impacts hospice patients and their families in your community and supports AMOREM's mission to provide quality, thoughtful, loving care to patients and their families.
